(More customer reviews)We have a few of these changing pad covers, which fit well on the Basic Comfort Contour Changing Pad.The Velboa material is plush and soft, and it would feel great next to our baby's skin-- if it ever came in contact with him!Because our baby is a boy (i.e., is prone to spraying) and is breastfed (i.e., drinks a natural laxative all day), we've found it's more convenient to put a flannel receiving blanket on top of the changing pad and just whip that off every time he gets it dirty.This happens at least once or twice a day, so it's much more cost-effective to have about a dozen inexpensive receiving blankets on hand than a dozen relatively expensive changing pad covers, unless you want to do the laundry every day.Maybe someday when our boy gets a little older and has fewer diaper changes, he'll be able to lie directly on top of the changing pad cover, at which point I'm sure he'll find it nice and comfy.For young infants, though, I'd recommend investing in quantity rather than quality.
