The DVD explains how to calm and soothe an infant, which is great for us novices (I never even babysat a baby before I had my own--I had NO IDEA what I was doing). And the blanket was THE VERY BEST SWADDLER for my very BIG and STRONG infant son who could wriggle his way out of every other blanket and/or swaddler I tried.
