I have not used these to swaddle yet - but i can see how i can use it besides that ( since i probably wont be swaddling a lot). It would be perfect as a blanket, cover, etc especially for summer time ( and California)
If you wonder how these are different from Aden+Anais besides almost double price and different prints:
1. Size - Pinzon is slightly larger 47X47 (vs 44X44)
2. Material - technically the same but Pinzon is thinner. It has bigger "holes" than Aden+Anais that results in slightly rougher material and more transparency. I have not washed these yet - but seems like the Aden+Anais will be a little softer. Both have that rectangular "weave".
I have not noticed that difference right out of the box - only upon closer examination, so it seems like the difference is very small. I don't even think its a reason to buy a more expensive Aden+Anais unless you really love the other prints. Or if the Pinzon lasts less and washes not as well.
